Its been a while since we put to the wider community of friends the project of getting Gypsy, our 25 year old pony a Coat. After a generous donation last week we managed to finally fulfill this little wish for our beautiful girl.
She has suffered from Queensland Itch too long and started to hurt her skin by rubbing against fences, gates, trees or anything she could find. Treatment wasn’t working, this was her last chance to become more at ease in her little body. This new coat helps her relax and enjoy the grazing of the Noah’s Ark paddocks without having to scratch every two minutes.
Also, doesn’t she look cute! Rimen is a bit scared of her and runs away when she comes doing her little gallop in her new white coat. Oh well, more food for her!
Thankyou everyone for donating and making this wish come true. Stay tuned for more stories of the Noah’s Ark next week! or follow us on instagram (@noahs_ark_as) for a snippet of what it is to combine alchymie in service to the animal kingdom.
